Admission appointments are available Monday - Friday at 8:45, 9:45, 10:45, 1:45, and 2:45. Student visitors will meet with one of our admissions counselors for 30 to 45 minutes; parents are invited into the conversation for the last 10 to 15 minutes of the session. The meeting is followed by a campus tour. Most campus tours involve a student tour guide being paired with one or two families for a 45-minute walking tour of the main campus. The College's Custom House and waterfront area are not included on the tour but are open to visitors.
Class visitations can usually be arranged for students who are coming to campus for an interview. The necessary arrangements require at least seven days advance notice. Although every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, class schedules, field trips, and examinations sometimes make it impossible to do so. Typically, overnight visits are available only in the spring semester and are restricted to admitted applicants.

Summer Visits to Washington College
Summer visits are not quite the same as a fall semester or spring semester visit but they are too good an opportunity to pass up! All of our visitors meet with an admissions counselor and have ample time to discuss their college-related interests, goals, questions and concerns.
Well over half of our summer visitors return for a Fall Open House Program and the opportunity to meet with WC professors, students, coaches, and student life staff. During the academic year class visitations and overnights can also be arranged.
Our goal is to provide every prospective applicant with a complete and accurate understanding of academic and campus life at WC. We hope to see you in Chestertown this summer!
